Dear Pastors, Church Clerks, and Church Leaders,
Greetings from the Dyer Baptist Association!
As we continue pursuing our mission of helping churches fulfill the Great Commission, I am asking each of our churches to complete and return the Annual Church Profile (ACP). As we continue to implement the 5E Strategy—Equip, Encourage, Engage, Energize, and Execute—we need to understand where our churches are so we can better serve and support their ministry efforts. The ACP is much more than a statistical report. It provides a snapshot of the ministry God is accomplishing through your church and helps us better understand the needs, opportunities, and strengths of our associational churches. The information you provide assists the Dyer Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, and the Southern Baptist Convention in planning resources, identifying ministry trends, celebrating victories, and supporting churches more effectively.
Just as importantly, the ACP helps tell the story of what God is doing through our churches. Every baptism represents a changed life. Every ministry effort reflects a church serving its community. Every mission opportunity demonstrates obedience to Christ’s command to make disciples. Your report helps ensure that these stories of faithfulness are accurately represented and celebrated.
I understand that filling out reports might seem like just another task on a busy ministry calendar. However, your effort is appreciated and provides insights to better support, motivate, and connect with churches. Even if your church faced difficulties, declines, or changes, please complete and submit your report. Every church has a story worth sharing and we want to hear your story. If exact numbers are not available, provide the best estimates. An estimated report is better than none and helps represent your church's ministry in the larger story of what God is doing across our association and convention.
If you need help with completing your ACP, feel free to reach out to our office. Mrs. Christy Pledge, our DBA Ministry Assistant, is happy to assist your church with the report or any questions you might have. We're here to make this process as easy and helpful as possible.
Thank you so much for your dedicated service to the Lord and for being such a wonderful partner in ministry. It is a privilege to work alongside you as we strive together to build stronger leaders, stronger churches, and stronger communities for the glory of God.
Serving Together,
Dr. Anthony Rhodes Associational Missions Strategist Dyer Baptist Association
Stronger Together Strong Leaders. Strong Churches. Strong Communities.
Welcome to the Dyer Baptist Association
We are a network of churches across Dyer, Lauderdale, and Haywood counties working together to make disciples and strengthen the local church.
We believe healthy leaders build healthy churches, and healthy churches impact communities.
Because together—we are stronger.

Our Biblical Foundation
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,”— Ephesians 4:12 (ESV)
EQUIPPING THE SAINTS
LIVING ON MISSION
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”—
Acts 1:8 (ESV)
We are committed to strengthening pastors, leaders, and churches to build up the body of Christ through intentional discipleship and leadership development.
We assist churches in living out their mission—beginning in their local communities and expanding to reach their region and the nations with the gospel.
